HoReCa Furniture: How to Choose Chairs for a Restaurant

Furniture for restaurants, cafés or hotels operates under far more intense conditions than home furniture. The average restaurant chair endures 200–300 seatings per day, compared to 3–5 at home. So HoReCa furniture selection requires a different set of criteria.

First — structural strength. A frame of sanded plywood 18 mm or thicker holds up to 200 kg and doesn't deform under heavy use. Metal legs made from 20 mm profile tube provide stability even on uneven floors.

Second — ease of cleaning. For high-traffic areas, choose fabrics with water-repellent treatment. An alternative is eco-leather, which wipes clean with a damp cloth and resists food stains.

Third — stackability. If your venue hosts events or rearranges its space, look for stackable models. This greatly simplifies storage and increases spatial flexibility.

Avalon manufactures HoReCa chairs to order — with custom upholstery colour, venue logo on the backrest, or non-standard dimensions. Minimum order is 20 units. Contact us for a wholesale price quote.
